This project was commissioned by a lisbon dance/community arts association called c.e.m: centro em moveminto, during a festival Pedras d’Água. It resulted in a site-specific intervention in one of the most iconic subway stations in the city.

The work attempted to foreground to passersby the soundscape of this structure, by constructing a sonic/sculptural intervention in one of the walls. This, was connected to a series of 4 microphones, that were spread around the station, that were connected to a mixer with an headphone output. There was no sound processing, the only displacement was provided by the position of the different micropnes. The piece played with the possibility of this form of physical networked mediation in re-amplifying and re-framing the sonic experience of the listener.
