Paraty is a book project that functions as a manual contextualizing the presentation of field recordings.The book then attempts to transform the reader into a “field recordist”, introducing the reader/listener to a distinct sonic materiality, while presenting those recordings as a background from which to engage in creative and playful processes that mainly deals with place-being interactions.
