In I walk in the sand towards the ocean, the viewer can see me moving and recording, holding the microphone at my hand, wearing a pair of headphones. This is a performance that problematises human intervention within the process of field recording, by introducing a strong visual element that foregrounds scale, movement and technical apparatus.
